This is a very interesting ruling and the findings of fact showed the intent of the individual school committee members to avoid public inspection of their actions. The reimbursement of costs is also fascinating. I hope all those who nobly serve the public and are responsible for following the open meeting law take notice of the lessons from this case and fulfill their obligations for transparency.
